ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - John Fox has had it with Von Millers transgressions. Now, the Denver Broncos are waiting to see if NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has, too. The All-Pro linebacker, whos serving a six-game suspension for violating the leagues drug-abuse policy, was cited last week for speeding and driving with a suspended license, his second run-in with the law in less than a month. "Obviously, its something that were not happy about," Fox said Wednesday. "Everybody here has an individual responsibility not only to themselves but to this organization, as well as to this football team. So, obviously its something that were not pleased about. Ill leave it at that." Asked if he felt if this latest citation could result in a longer banishment for Miller, the Broncos coach said, "Youd have to ask the commissioner that. Thats not my lane." The NFL declined comment. Yet another traffic violation surfaced late Wednesday when the Denver Post reported that Miller has an open warrant for his arrest in California. A spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorneys Office told the newspaper that Miller has a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic ticket issued last year. The leagues conduct policy states that discipline is possible for "conduct that undermines or puts at risk the integrity and reputation of the NFL, NFL clubs, or NFL players," and the commissioner has pledged to take a sterner approach with repeat offenders. However, traffic violations have generally not been a part of the leagues conduct policy. Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said Miller was cited on Sept. 5 near his home for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Hes due in court on Oct. 28. The traffic stop occurred at 10:30 a.m. on the day the Broncos kicked off the NFL season against the Baltimore Ravens, the first regular season game that Miller missed for repeated violations of the leagues drug-abuse policy. Robinson said Miller was pulled over for going 38 mph in a 25 mph residential zone and a routine computer check revealed he was driving with a suspended license. Miller was with his father, Von Sr., who was then allowed to drive the vehicle, a black BMW thats registered to Millers mother, Gloria, according to the summons and complaint. The officer who pulled Miller over wrote in capital letters on the summons: MUST APPEAR IN COURT, and he circled it. Miller was arrested on Aug. 10 when he tried to make a firearm purchase at a gun club near the Broncos practice facilities. A routine background check revealed he had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on multiple charges from last October, when he was cited for driving carelessly and lacking a license and proof of insurance. Millers teammates are "still going to be there for him and help him make good decisions all the time," linebacker and co-captain Wesley Woodyard said after practice. "Hes like my little brother, so Im always going to be tough on him. ... Im always going to tell him to do the right thing." Miller has been working out and attending meetings at Broncos headquarters but isnt allowed to speak with the media during his suspension. He wasnt in the locker room Wednesday as he had been during the 45-minute period that was open to reporters Monday. He has politely declined all interviews since his suspension was handed down on Aug. 20. Miller had 30 sacks in his first two NFL seasons. He was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2011 after the Broncos made him the second overall pick out of Texas A&M. He set the franchise record with 18 1/2 sacks last season, leading Broncos Executive Vice-President John Elway to call him the best player hes ever seen. Miller first made headlines in the off-season when he guaranteed the Broncos would win the Super Bowl. Because of his suspension that could cost him more than $2 million in lost salary and prorated signing bonuses, he cant start to back up that boast until Week 7 when Denver plays at Indianapolis — providing he doesnt face additional discipline. Stars coach Lindy Ruff earned his 600th NHL win, and he got it against his former team. Ruffs first 571 wins came with Buffalo. "It means Im on my way to 700, hopefully," Ruff said. "It means that Ive had a lot of good players and good teams. Those wins belong to those players." Chiassons goal was his first in 13 games, and he wasnt the only player who broke a scoring drought. Alex Goligoski put Dallas ahead briefly 2-1 with his third goal this season after 48 games without one. "He has looked refreshed and energized," Ruff said of Chiasson. "He needed one to go in." What Chiasson couldnt do with his stick, he accomplished with his leg. "Sometimes youre going to need help from other people, but we need Jamie," he said. "Look at the first goal, Jamie was right there (screening Enroth). And then on the last one, his shot hit me in the shin guard." Enroth complained, but the goal stood. "Something happened there you couldnt really see on the replay," the goalie said, "but the ref told me it was (teammate Mike) Weber that kind of got his stick in my glove or whatever happened there." Shawn Horcoff gathered in the rebound and sent a backhanded pass across the goalmouth to Goligoski, who scored into the left side of the net. Buffalo tied it when Moulsons shot went over the net but bounced back off the glass to Ennis, who tucked the puck into the lower right corner.
